Privacy Policy

plato·prompts is operated by Plato. This is a single-purpose web utility for organizing AI prompts. It does not require an account, does not transmit your prompts to any server, and stores data only in your browser’s localStorage.

What we collect

• Prompts you add to the notebook — stored 100% in your browser’s localStorage under the key prompt_notebook_v1. All read/write operations run in JavaScript locally. Verify by opening DevTools → Network — no requests are made when you add, edit, or delete a prompt.
• Anonymous analytics — we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It is privacy-preserving, uses no cookies, and does not track prompt content.
• Advertising — once this site is approved for Google AdSense, ad code from Google’s advertising network will be loaded. Google may use cookies to serve ads. Opt out at Google Ads Settings.

What we do NOT collect

• Your name, email, address, or phone number — we don’t ask
• The prompts you write or store — never transmitted
• Account information — there are no accounts
• Payment information — the tool is free

localStorage

Your prompts are stored under prompt_notebook_v1 in localStorage for prompts.platotools.com. This storage is isolated to this site — no other website can read it. If you clear browser data or switch devices, the data will not be there. Use Export → JSON to create a portable backup.

Third-party services

• Cloudflare Pages — hosting. Cloudflare may log basic request metadata per their privacy policy.
• Cloudflare Web Analytics — privacy-preserving traffic analytics, no cookies. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
• Google AdSense (once approved) — ads. See Google Ads policies.

Cookies

The tool itself sets no cookies. Google AdSense (when active) sets cookies via Google’s domain. You can block these via browser settings without affecting the notebook.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Data subject rights (GDPR, CCPA)

Since we do not collect personal information beyond anonymous analytics, there is typically nothing for us to disclose, correct, or delete. Contact us if you have a specific request.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the “Last updated” date at the top.
